Job Description
We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Desktop Support Engineer, to work in Portland, OR.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and end-user support in the areas of Mac OS, Microsoft Windows platform (Windows 10), Microsoft Office 365, off-the-shelf applications, Remote Connectivity Platform, and network/local HP & Canon printers through desk-side, phone support, or remote support.
- Offer desktop/laptop break/fix/maintenance support, ensuring the optimal functionality of hardware and software.
- Support a growing mobility platform, including iOS, Android, and Windows-based platforms.
- Perform PC and laptop builds to meet organizational requirements.
- Work within an ITIL-based Service Desk environment, adhering to best practices in service delivery.
- Utilize Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience providing technical support for Mac OS, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and off-the-shelf applications.
- Expertise in supporting network/local printers, either desk-side, through phone support, or remotely.
- Hands-on experience with desktop and laptop break/fix/maintenance support.
- Familiarity with iOS, Android, and Windows-based mobility platforms.
- Ability to build PCs and laptops according to organizational standards.
- Experience working within an ITIL-based Service Desk environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange.
