We are looking for a Field Clerk in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Our Field Clerks are an integral part of daily operations. We hire individuals who make safety and customer service their top priorities.

Our Field Clerks are responsible for:
- Communicates policy and procedures to transportation providers.
- Supports transportation providers in the field.
- Bi-Annual (scheduled) Random Inspections.
- Scheduled bi-annual inspections with providers.
- Inspects provider's vehicles to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure all vehicles are inspected on schedule and that no vehicle inspections expire.
- Provider Service Checks
- Stationed at facilities with heavy traffic to observe provider service.
- Observes providers on the road and corrects safety issues when possible.
- Facility Visits
- Visit facilities to establish relationships.
- Fill out facility visit forms.
- Assist with critical accidents, incidents, and provider complaints.
- Conducts on scene accident investigations when feasible.
- Assist providers with preparing accident reports.
- Assist Transportation Manager with expanding provider network.
- Assist Transportation Manager with new provider orientation.
- Deliver bus ticket orders and bus ticket.
- Attend provider meetings when necessary.
- Maintain provider files.
- Reporting
- Daily Report - Number of random inspections, annual inspections, facility visits, service checks etc.
- Other reports as needed.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
To qualify as a Field Clerk, you’ll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to exercise good judgement, to multi-task, and to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to exhibit diplomacy and tactfulness.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Local geographical knowledge.
- Must be flexible and adaptable with changing assignments.
- Show initiative and have a strong work ethic.
