Job Description
Our company is seeking a dedicated and passionate F&I Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our commitment to high customer satisfaction, as it involves assisting customers with their finance needs, ensuring deals are funded in a timely manner, and selling service contracts professionally and ethically. The ideal candidate will have a strong product knowledge, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our new and used truck department, and to contribute to our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities- Process finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval
- Work closely with the new and used truck department
- Take credit applications in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer
- Structure deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines
- Generate additional revenue through sales of extended warranties, insurance, and service contracts
- Prepare all documents for new and used truck finance deals and facilitate the title transfer with the Secretary of State
- Train sales staff regarding benefits of financing and extended service programs, and communicate current finance and lease programs
- Attend new and used truck sales meetings
- Check funding and communicate terms and options for the customer
- Convert cash deals to finance
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Set up and maintain a program to ensure 100% turnover to the F&I department
- Coordinate finance forecasting with truck sales department
- Train a designated backup to ensure coverage in the F&I Manager’s absence
- Manage titles for new and used truck inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
