Vegheaven is seeking a friendly, creative, and smart individual to join our team as a Farmers Market Sales Associate.
(Markets range from 4-5 hours)
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and provide exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
- Showcase and promote our delicious range of vegan baked goods, including cakes, pastries, bread, and more.
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect vegan treats, answering any questions they may have about ingredients, flavors, or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain an attractive and well-organized market stall, ensuring that displays are visually appealing and fully stocked at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient customer service.
- Assist in setting up and tearing down the market stall before and after each market day.
- Deliver baked goods to customers who may require transportation assistance.
Requirements:
- A genuine pcommitment to promoting plant-based products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an appealing and well-stocked market stall.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays, as Farmers Markets often operate on those days.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to facilitate deliveries.
