We are looking to fill a Fall Protection Construction-Installation Lead to lead the team installing Fall Protection systems in a timely manner, by fabricating, inspecting, and installing Fall Protection components in accordance with the budgeted time frame.
FALL PROTECTION CONSTRUCTION-INSTALLATION LEAD MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees and participates at the project/work site with our team of employees, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner
- Read and interpret building plans and drawings
- Compare actual site conditions to engineering drawings for discrepancies, coordinate with onsite trades a necessary, and communicate any issues to supervisor and project management.
- Perform basic math calculations
- Perform quality control and standardization for all phases of installation
- Proactively monitor, track, and take necessary action to complete projects and report daily progress to Construction Manager.
- Complete work at heights, such as on rooftops, elevated platforms, or other areas where Fall Protection personal protective equipment may be required for safety if other guards are not in place.
- Access the roof via aerial lift, ladders, platforms, or other means to perform work and mobilize materials safety within company policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring availability, function, and safety.
- Manages and leads actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather or emergencies at the installation sites.
- Identifies and recommends solutions for production problems, as required.
- Transport various items (e.g., tools, equipment, supplies) to and while on the job site
- Operate company and rental vehicles safely
FALL PROTECTION CONSTRUCTION-INSTALLATION LEAD MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to travel (overnight/multiple night stays based on supported projects) to various US-based locations to perform installations at client locations.
- Knowledge of power tools, handheld tools, pneumatic tools, etc.
- Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations.
- Desire to innovate and solve difficult problems from inception to final deliverable
- Ability to work independently and in team settings

FALL PROTECTION CONSTRUCTION-INSTALLATION LEAD QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, technical degree preferred
- Five+ years of Fall Protection experience or construction/job site experience
- Ability to read blueprints and understands engineering, architecture, and other construction drawings.
- Experience with leading a team onsite
- Experience with scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts
- Understands, has training in OSHA/ANSI Fall Protection standards
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests and MVR check
FALL PROTECTION CONSTRUCTION-INSTALLATION LEAD PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to perform duties.
- Understands the exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
