The Faculty Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for assisting the College of Medicine's Dean Office and the Office of the Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development with Human Resources faculty matters. The Faculty Appointment Assistant will work regularly with Human Resources, Medical Staff Services, department assistants, department chairs, faculty, Deans, and all levels of administration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administrative support and back up to the Faculty Appointments Specialist and the Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development, the appointment of all voluntary faculty in the College of Medicine, assisting in the response to internal and external requests for faculty data using the HRIS, and assisting the departments in compiling promotion/tenure dossiers for the College of Medicine Faculty Appointment Promotion Committee. In addition, the Faculty Appointment Assistant will create and maintain confidential personnel records for the College of Medicine Faculty, administer the faculty life insurance benefits, and verification of the faculty appointments.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with three years of administrative experience or Associate's degree and five years of administrative experience, plus excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Human Resources experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an academic setting. Work Days:Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
