3S Services Facility Project Manager

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Midland TX area. The Facility Project Manager will use the tools from the Safety Leadership to develop personnel in the 3S operation. In addition, the incumbent to this position will represent themselves in a professional manner and represent himself by demonstrating value to all people, in the field, the 3S office, a customer office or location with vendors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with all 3S Supervisors to develop a dynamic state in which combined action is favored over the difference of individual actions. Simply defined, it means that the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts.
  • Works closely with the Field Administrative Specialist to ensure required paper work and time sheets are managed in the manner 3S Services require.
  • Identify organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement. Work with the 3S Supervisors in a positive non-threatening manner. Use the tools available to them such as the “GO” card, JSA’s and OID, audits as well as taking an active role/leading in the same processes.
  • Influence personnel to use the tools available to them such as the “GO” card, JSA’s and OID by auditing using the 3S audits.
  • For potential growth of the area, demonstrate and support the specific roles and responsibilities within the organization and Management Systems.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate your plan to resolve the issues in writing to the 3S COO, General Manager and CEO.
  • Drive the development of procedures and implementation into operations.
  • Provide 3S Management with open/honest feedback on issues that are affecting or have potential to affect the 3S organization both positive or negative.
  • Communicate effectively with customer representatives in a professional manner supporting 3S Services values.

HSE

  • Take a leadership role in safety and environmental performance by communication of 3S expectations, and the customer expectations on HSE issues, using the tools from the Safety Leadership Seminar.
  • On a yearly basis develop a person Safety Action Plan and discuss with area supervisors and send it to the 3S COO, General Manager and CEO.
  • Ensure area employees are engaged in 3S JSA, GO Card, OID and audit processes by demonstrating your visible commitment to these processes by using them.
  • Ensure area employees adhere to all 3S safety policies and procedures by demonstrating your commitment to the process.
  • Ensure area employees adhere to all customer specific safety policies and procedures by auditing, field tours and discussions with field personnel.
  • Ensure all required PPE required for the tasks being performed is available to employees using the audit process to indentify gaps.
  • Ensure all required safety equipment is available using the audit process to identify gaps. (Fire extinguishers, First Aid Kits, Gloves, etc,) Enhance personnel knowledge by training them on JSA’s, GO Card and procedure review.
  • Take part and lead monthly safety and training meetings
  • Conducts internal operational job specific audits.

Personnel

  • Ensure properly trained/qualified manpower is available for all jobs.
  • Review work and workloads on a daily and/or project basis.
  • Establish effective communication with and between supervision.
  • Assess’ capabilities and training needs for area employees. Identify gaps and present solutions in writing to the 3S COO, General Manager and CEO.
  • Ensure New Hire/mentorship paperwork is completed within 3 months of hire date) and termination of employees has been completed and sent to Human Resources.
  • Use the 3S Disciplinary Policy as an effective tool to change behaviors within the organization using the 3S Disciplinary process.
  • Drive the 3S culture on a daily basis by insisting and demonstrating the values that have made 3S a "Contractor of Choice".
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors to identify potential supervisors. Communicate recommendations to 3S Management in written form on a monthly basis.
  • Complete mid-year and year end performance discussions with reports and document on the review form and send to Human Resources.
  • Ensure reports random drug test are completed in the timeframe they are scheduled.

Equipment

  • Ensure that all maintenance and repairs occur as needed and/or scheduled.
  • Ensure the proper equipment for ongoing and future work projects are in place.
  • Assures equipment is scheduled for upcoming projects are fully equipped and available when the new crew or when the project starts.

Business

  • Ensures that equipment used has been charged to the customer.
  • Ensures that non-billable hours are in fact correct.
  • Reviews and distributes daily work and purchase order spreadsheets.
  • Engaged with customer representatives on ongoing and future projects.
  • Identify gaps within the organization that may affect the organization ability to grow.
  • Ensures the non-bid equipment is charged back to the customer.
  • Ensures that each crew/area/job meets the profit margin that is dependent on that specific job.
  • Identify, implement and communicate operational improvements.
  • Identify gaps within the organization that may affect the organization ability to grow.
  • Effectively communicate with the other asset and determine what is the most effective decision that will benefit the 3S organization as a WHOLE, not what is best for the specific asset.
  • Provide 3S Management with open/honest feedback on issues that are affecting or have the potential to affect the 3S organization both positive of negative.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Associates
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Basic computer skills in Excel, Word, etc.
