Summary
The Facilities, Procurement & Inventory Manager supports the Training Centers by organizing the building activities, maintenance and building projects for each training center, purchasing, and managing inventories for all programs and training centers.

$2,563.20 weekly + Benefits + Local, National, and Officers Pensions
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, days 7 – 3:30, evenings and weekends as needed for special projects, events

About
Our Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee’s (JATC) primary mission is to train highly qualified, skilled, and marketable Plumbers, Steamfitters, and HVAC/R technicians for our industry. We are dedicated to developing professionals who bring expertise, character, and a sense of teamwork to the clients we service, the contractors who employ us and the union we represent.
Core Duties
- Develop and manage the Asset and Inventory tracking system and process utilized at all Training Centers
- Coordinate JATC approved projects and construction activities of all facilities
- Collaborate with designated staff at the satellite Training Centers to coordinate activities related to approved projects and construction in the satellite facilities
- Manage Preventative Maintenance schedules and activities for all Training Center Assets
- Manage janitorial services team for the Tualatin Training Centers
- Manage janitorial contracts and quality control for outlying facilities
- Manage inventories of consumables, materials, tools, and equipment for all Training Centers, including tracking and evaluating usage and loss
- Inventory assets, including furniture, computers, electronics, machinery
- Order consumables, materials, tools, equipment and supplies for all Training Centers
- Visit satellite training centers to assess inventory, assets, and other needs on a scheduled basis
- Create reports and budgets for facilities projects, inventory usage and estimates, and asset replacement
- Report on usage and loss of inventory, materials, equipment, and assets for the JATC each month; agenda reports are due 7 calendar days prior to each meeting
- Support Safety initiatives, updated the SDS book, ensure safety equipment is operational
- Other Duties and Activities will be assigned, or updated as needed

Experience
Work Experience, Education and Skills:
- 1-2 years in a similar role required
- Experience with inventory management and control required
- Experience with purchasing required
- Working knowledge of plumbing, steamfitting and hvac/r consumables required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office 365 Programs, including Outlook and Excel
- Ability to drive a company vehicle with current license and minimal traffic infractions, subject to approval by the Training Center auto insurance policy
- Organizational ability
- Forklift certification preferred, can be provided
Environment
This position is on site, and is mostly standing, walking, bending, and using tools, occasionally driving long distances, occasionally using a forklift. Regular lifting up 50 lbs. The main campus where the job mostly takes place is large and flat, some walking is required to get from building to building.
Travel
Occasional travel to other training center locations as scheduled and as needed.
