Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages all areas of facilities related support, local/regional strategy, and execution of facility programs designed to maximize life of company assets while maintaining brand standards.
- Supports all service-related opportunities, manage work order flow, invoicing, and operations requests.
- Development and monitoring of proactive preventative maintenance programs for each facility.
- Contribute to the development and management of facility maintenance capital projects and budgets for restaurants and other related assets subject to purchase, maintenance, and repair; identifying current and future capital needs.
- Maintain restaurant profiles and manage vendor services base using industry standard asset management software for vendor contracts, preventative maintenance and repairs including vendor fee/price negotiations, monitoring of workmanship, responsiveness, and issue resolution for all company assets.
- Continually provide coaching to restaurant operators regarding proactive maintenance best practices.
- Continually source and re-qualify suppliers. Perform routine assessment of vendor performance, pricing, on-time delivery, specifications, quality of product, workmanship, responsiveness, and issue resolution for the restaurants and other company assets.
- Reviews proposals and invoices to ensure overall value & integrity of brand standards.
- Prepares scopes of work (SOW) and/or Requests for Proposal (RFP) packages for projects within purview
- Acts as the first point of escalation for field facilities emergencies, opportunities, and provides emergency support 24/7/365
- Provides guidance to operations on FF&E repair/replace planned and unplanned decisions.
- Inform supervisor of any issues requiring escalation or assistance.
- Completes expense reports and other administrative responsibilities.
Education, Experience & Travel Required
- 3-5 years of facilities management within the restaurant/retail industry.
- Self-starter, able to adapt and interact professionally with all levels of Fogo organization.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as well as work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and experience with the following: HVAC/mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance contracting, kitchen equipment, soda and Co2 systems
- Experience evaluating asset condition and need for furniture, fixtures, and equipment maintenance and repair, reading plans and requesting proposals.
- Ability to evaluate efficiencies such as energy consumption and other needs provided by service providers (for example gas, water, and electricity companies).
Travel Required
- On-site job primarily based in Dallas
- Ability & flexibility to travel to locations that require additional FM coaching/support, new restaurant turnover & 11-month warranty walk-throughs, or in emergency situations. Estimated 25% annually.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to leverage effectively.
- Proficient in procurement and asset management software applications.
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Travel by automobile and airplane, and stand prolong work hours. Must have a high level of endurance and mental acuity and toughness to manage conflict and deal successfully with high stress situations.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
