Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for buildings and utility systems throughout the hospital.

• Establishes work schedules
• Manage the ordering of supplies and services to maintain expenses within budget
• Oversees accomplishment of services
• Respond to building system casualties and takes immediate action to restore services
• Tracks preventive maintenance to ensure Maintenance Mechanics and Senior Maintenance Mechanics accomplish assigned tasks within the month assigned
• Assigns tasks and repairs to Maintenance Mechanics and Senior Maintenance Mechanics and verifies that assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Assesses training needs and arranges for needed training
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed

What qualifications you will need:

• Technical Associates degree is preferred
• Five years related experience is required
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required
