Location: Milford, IN

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm; Weekends as needed for emergencies and projects

On-call Rotation: Yes, including weekends and night shifts with a team of 5

Compensation: $23-27 per hour, depending on skills and experience

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Milford, IN facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for various maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of buildings and equipment in both Facilities and Live Production areas.

Essential Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment.
• Participate in snow removal activities as necessary, including plowing, shoveling, and salting.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
• Manage inventory control of maintenance-related items and tools.
• Answer alarms and be available for occasional holiday and weekend duty as scheduled.
• Keep work areas, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized.
• Undertake occasional manufacturing or renovation of existing equipment.
• Perform miscellaneous repairs throughout the organization to support Live Production and Facilities operations.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment/mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge and abilities in the carpentry/construction field.
• Act as a backup for the Environmental Department as needed.

Job Specifications:

• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with general maintenance and interaction with internal and external customers is required.

Skills And Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot general maintenance problems.
• Ability to drive company vehicles in all types of weather conditions.

Working Climate:

• Position entails exposure to all types of climates, in hot and cold conditions.
• Will require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and over 50 lbs must use a mechanical means or a two-man lift.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:

• Solid work history with excellent attendance.
• 2-3 plus years of Facility Maintenance experience.
• "Jack of all trades" including lawn care, plumbing, electrical (220 480 voltage is preferred), HVAC, carpentry.
• Snow removal experience, including plows, shoveling, laying down salt.
• Framing experience and working with concrete preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders and roofing experience is a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience using equipment such as bobcats, tractors, trailers, forklifts.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work under little or no supervision, and maintain professionalism.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and about a 30-minute commute or less.
