Employment Horizons, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee and maintain all office facilities, furnishings, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and operational environment. In this role, you will coordinate necessary building maintenance and manage and provide janitorial training to a small group of adults with disabilities. This position is 40 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities include: Drafting, implementing, and managing a schedule of preventative maintenance and deep cleaning for the building and equipment Coordinating with outside vendors to complete complex installations and repairs Conducting a daily inspection of the building to ensure the building is free of safety hazards Training program participants in correct and efficient work procedures so they can achieve optimum productivity and quality standards Handling simple day-to-day repairs to furniture, equipment, and the building Performing various cleaning tasks as needed Salary: $18-$20/hour Benefits: Generous paid time off including 15 holidays, 18 vacation days, and 10 sick days, employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, up to $9,000 in education assistance, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match, among other benefits. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED Excellent listening and written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of proper and safe cleaning supplies and tools Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to work under stress and maintain an even temperament Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word) Basic computer skills Commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications Experience working with adults with disabilities First Aid/CPR certification A valid driver's license Employment Horizons is an equal-opportunity employer.
