Essential Job Functions:
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following functions. These examples do not include all of the duties which the employee may be expected to perform. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each function, as well as have the following requirements.
- MUST HAVE at least 1-2 years of experience in fabrication & welding.
- Experience/ extensive knowledge of metal finishing techniques (grinding, flap disk work, oxide pad finishing, wire wheel cleaning, etc)
- While you will be part of a team, you will be expected to be able to stay on task when provided with such and see projects through to completion.
- Must take initiative and perform work in a timely manner. Must be self-motivated to get work done.
- Must perform work required to our level of quality. We have high-end clientele and are known for our quality.
- Installation of fabricated projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Minimum Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are represented of the knowledge, skills, abilities and minimum qualifications necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Experience in welding shop environments
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of the safety precautions, regulations, and procedures utilized in construction activities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in the field. While at work the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts and/or machinery. The noise level can range from moderate to loud depending on the project site and nature of the work being performed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
