Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components to create high-quality products. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal pieces
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including stick welding and soldering tools
- Weld components together using various techniques, such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal pieces
- Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Basic math skills for measuring and marking dimensions accurately
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication is a plus
- Familiarity with reading and understanding schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to assemble and weld components according to specifications
- Experience using calipers or other measuring tools for precision work

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
