Looking for the next step in your career? SouthWood is a custom sign fabricator and is continuing to grow and we have an immediate opening for a metal Fabricator/Welder. We fabricate and install signs for the largest companies in the Carolinas and worldwide. We are searching for someone with 5+ years of custom sign fabrication experience, and 10+ years of overall fabrication experience. Expert level welding, fabrication, and lighting skills are required, as well as a desire to be a thoughtful and innovative leader for the fabrication team. In this position, we are looking for someone that can read drawings/blueprints and can quickly get to work. While we are looking for someone that can perform at a faster pace, quality is a must.
Electrical knowledge, Shear Operation, Press Break Operation, Spray Paint, Bondo Application, Lords Adhesive Application, Wood Working.
Hours
Standard: Mon - Thursday @ 5:30A.M. - 4:00P.M.
Overtime required by SWC: Currently, production demands Fridays 5:30 - 11:30, 2, or 4 PM (subject to change per demand - Saturdays maybe required in the future)
