We are looking for experienced pipe fitters and pipe welders to join our team in the Aiken Augusta area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, as well as experience with different types of metals and alloys. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, work independently, and demonstrate the ability to work quickly and accurately. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn new skills and techniques, and can work both independently and as part of a team. We are also looking for experiance with sheetmetal, carbon, and stainless.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Operate welding equipment to join metal components.
- Pipe fitting/ Pipe welding.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety regulations.
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
- Use oxy-acetylene torches to cut, weld, and shape metal components.
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
