Job Summary
RAI Industrial Fabricators is seeking a full-time Fabricator & Welder to be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal products. Fabrications include stairs, rails, structural parts and other types of metal items.
Essential Functions

• Ability to fabricate conceptually and from drawings
• Cut and shape parts using industry standard equipment
• Layout fabrications
• Tack and/or finish weld
• Schedule time and work with production budgets
• Understand and follow safety regulations and procedures set by the Company and governing safety agencies

Education and Experience

• 3 - 5 years' experience preferred
• Ability to pass an AWS weld test required
• MIG, TIG and Fluxcore experience
• Stainless steel and aluminum experience a plus

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles, on an active construction site
• Prepared to regularly encounter moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and a variety of outside weather conditions
• Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs, and ladders
• Able to bend, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, balance and stoop, reach on a regular basis
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
