Truck Equipment Installer - Fabricator

Job purpose

• Install Petersen Industries, Inc. manufactured equipment onto truck chassis.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Familiar with welding equipment
• Work with a team
• Adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines and production demands
• Maintain shop safety standards
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in designated work area
• Other related task
• Layout a truck by drawing
• Installation of equipment onto chassis frame

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills
• Welding skills
• Minor fabrication skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems

Working conditions

· 8-10 hour shifts

· Occasional weekend work

· Day shift and Night shift

· Outdoor garage work areas

Physical requirements

· Ability to stand for 8-10 shift or longer as needed for overtime projects

· Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.

· Ability to routinely bend, squat, and reach overhead

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
