Job Title: HR Administrator
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Job Summary:The HR Administrator is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for providing administrative support across various HR functions. This role involves managing employee records, assisting with the recruitment process, administering HR programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records in the HRIS database.
- Process employee documentation, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Assis in posting job vacancies on various job boards and company career portals.
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial candidate assessments and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate with hiring manager and candidates to facilitate the recruitment process.
- Coordinate new hire orientations with hiring managers and work to transform the process to be led and overseen by the hiring managers.
- Ensure onboarding is completed and facilitate follow-up needs with the hiring manager.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Process employee status changes.
- Assist in administering employee benefit programs and support employee questions and serve as a support to the HR team.
- Support the administration and communication of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the local state, and federal levels.
- Assist leadership in the administration of the HR responsibilities.
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct employees to the appropriate management level to help resolve any issues.
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and support initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
- Provide administrative support the Vice President of Human Resources, prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Assist with HR goals and special projects as assigned.
- Ability to be innovative yet compliant with HR approach.
- Ability to accomplish a multitude of tasks with interruptions.
- Ability to maintain extreme confidence and professionalism while supporting a strong culture.
- Knowledge of employment laws with administrative guidelines as it relates to employment records, audits, documentation and SOP’s.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 5 years in progressive HR position
- Strong understanding of the need to develop sustainable processes.
- Ability to develop skills and knowledge through participation in webinars, trainings, and with peer development.
- HR Certification, a plus
- Ability to work in an office setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to adjust workday as needed based on the workflow and needs of the organization or employees.
