**Experienced Residential Lead Flatwork Finisher Position**
Cornerstone Custom Construction, Inc. is accepting applications for a qualified & experienced Lead Concrete Finishers for our residential construction services. This is a full-time position located throughout Minnesota, but focused mainly on the North Metro areas.
Ideally this position if for an ACI Certified Finisher who understands and believes in the importance of training and career development. The focus of this position is on the performing, training, and development of flatwork work crews, while running the day-to-day projects with a flatwork team.
Lead Finisher is a hands-on field position with a concentration of communications between the office, the job superintendents, and our main vendors.
To do this role, you must have a good understanding and ability to perform & train in the areas of set-up, layout, forming, pouring & finishing, in the following residential concrete areas:

To do this role, you must have a good understanding and ability to perform & train in the areas of set-up, layout, forming, pouring & finishing, in the following residential concrete areas:
- Basement Floors
- Garage Floors
- Stoops
- Patios & Sidewalks
- Curb & Sidewalk Removal and Replacement
- Concrete Slab Saw Cutting
- Pre-Production Readiness
This is a leadership position requiring the ability to lay out a daily plan with the Team and coordinate the production efforts on the job site.

- Pouring and finishing

- Screeding
- Following a maintenance schedule
- Ability to effectively lead a team, and work within a team atmosphere.
- Must be able to conduct yourself as a professional at the jobsite.
Another part of this position is ensuring the teams’ success from the start to the finish of a project. This includes making sure the tools and vehicles are all in working order, but it does not require you to be a mechanic.
This position becomes the face of the production side of the company in the field to our customers. This position ties directly into working with the Estimator and Operations Manager. The reporting is directly with the Operations Manager. The CEO is also involved as needed. The compensation is an hourly position with a company vehicle and company equipment dedicated to the workloads. Class A license is preferred.
