Job Description:CBD American Shaman is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in fulfillment and manufacturing Accounts Payable to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong analytical skills to manage Accounts Receivable processes efficiently while leveraging their knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable.Responsibilities:1. Accounts Receivable Management:• Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.• Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions.2. Customer Relationship Management:• Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms if necessary.• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.3. Cash Application:• Process incoming payments and accurately apply them to customer accounts.• Reconcile cash receipts and deposits regularly.4. Reporting and Analysis:• Prepare and analyze Accounts Receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and implement collection strategies.• Generate monthly financial reports related to Accounts Receivable performance.5. Process Improvement:• Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline Accounts Receivable procedures and enhance efficiency.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and best practices.6. Fulfillment and Manufacturing Accounts Payable Support:• Leverage knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable processes to provide support and collaboration with relevant teams.• Assist in resolving any cross-functional issues related to Accounts Receivable and payable processes.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.• Proven experience (X years) in Accounts Receivable management.• Strong understanding of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable processes.• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.• Experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards.• Certification such as Certified Accounts Receivable Manager (CAR), Certified Credit and Collection Professional (CCCP), or similar is preferred.Join our Shaman team and be part of a dynamic finance department where your expertise in Accounts Receivable and fulfillment/manufacturing accounts payable will contribute to the company's success.
