YOUR ROLE AS AN EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM DIRECTOR
As the full-time Expanded Learning Program Director at Community Youth Ministries in Reedley, CA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various aspects of our programs and staff. Your responsibilities will include providing innovative enrichment activity ideas, coordinating large events, offering staff coaching and training, overseeing promotional efforts, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership to develop site goals, manage budgets, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations. To excel as the Full Time Expanded Learning Program Director at Community Youth Ministries in Reedley, CA, candidates must possess a diverse set of skills and experiences. These include proven leadership in Expanded Learning Programs, a thorough understanding of various funding sources and compliance requirements, a history of developing engaging ELP activities, expertise in staff training and supervision, and the ability to effectively collaborate with school stakeholders. Additionally, proficiency in procurement and budget software, experience in program promotion and attendance strategies, and a background in education (with a BA) are preferred qualifications for this role.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Expanded Learning Program leadership experience
- Detailed knowledge of funding sources and requirements (ELO-P, ASES, ASSETS, 21CCLC, Frontier, Access, etc.)
- Track record of providing innovative, creative, and engaging ELP activities
- Experience with training, coaching and supervising staff
- Experience working with school administrators, teachers, students, and parents
- Experience using procurement and budget software
- Experience with program promotion and attendance achievement strategies
- Education background (with BA) preferred
