Executive Housekeeper

Job Description
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a hotel or resort. They are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained, and that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and supervised.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff
- Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met
- Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
