Executive Housekeeper

The ideal candidate embodies the Spirit of Hospitality, providing our guests with the highest level of customer service. Knowledge of IHG hotels is a plus, but not required. We offer competitive pay, and it will increase based on experience and familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department.
• Plan, schedule, and organize work within the housekeeping department to ensure proper coverage.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Ensure all staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective duties.
• Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
• Control expenses within all areas of housekeeping.
• Conduct departmental meetings to include a review of procedures and events which warrant special handling and detailed information.
• Promote sanitation, safety, security efforts, and guest services of the Hotel.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are inspected, cleaned, and in proper operational conditions.
• Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Observe guest reactions and frequently confer with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow hotel policy with lost/stolen items.
• Adhere to hotel requirements for guest/team member accidents or injuries and in emergencies.
• Complete monthly inventories of linen supplies, and equipment.
• Coordinate with GM and maintenance in the repair and maintenance program as it relates to guests rooms and public areas.
• Maintain Lost & Found Log.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
