This position works closely with the Project Next team to provide partnership on the overall transformation vision and plan to ensure financial deliverables and success metrics. The Finance Business Partner will be a champion to drive change enable change and related to interconnectivity of in-scope business processes through the lens of the consumer, customer, supplier and our employees/workforce; collaborate across pillars to ensure the organization is supporting and adopting these efforts in a sustainable way. o Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (including SOX monitoring and reporting)

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with the Project NEXT Pillar leads in developing the framework, with emphasis on the return on investment and value contribution of ELCs investments and services.
• Lead and develop Project NEXT cost center spending budgets and estimates. Review and provide explanation of variant spending and productivity on a regular basis. Provide counsel to leadership teams on project accounting and funding as needed.
• Oversee monthly financial close process, ensure consistency of inciteful and impactful financial reporting, and approve the monthly global financials (accruals, actual spending verification, balance sheet positions for prepaid, assets, liabilities).
• Ensure internal control environment is properly designed, reviewed and maintained for Project NEXT. Consider and implement process improvements to enhance the controls.
• Lead and develop performance metric reporting; provide advice, counsel and support on allocation methodologies for all functions to ensure cost center spending is appropriately charged to legal entities, brands, regions, channels, segments and affiliates in accordance with corporate guidelines for profitability analysis and statutory reporting.
• Communicate issues for consultation/disclosure to finance, tax and investor relations teams.
• Develop framework for evaluating spending and socialize the approach with impacted parties. This includes taking a leadership role in educating and influencing stakeholders on the adoption of new disciplines and procedures
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in Finance Business Partnering.
- Understanding of ELC business – including challenges and opportunities; organization and culture
. • Exceptional financial forecasting, analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business advisory skills.
• Able to deliver collaborative solutions across the ELC matrix, both within and outside the US.
• Accustomed to leading through influence vs. authority
• High EQ; a trusted leader who understands and knows how to navigate ELC’s relationship-centric culture
• Ability to “go high and low” – i.e. engage and operate strategically with Project Next leaders and also dive deep into the weeds within Finance - connecting dots, identifying and removing obstacles and ensuring sustainable change to deliver program objectives.
• Able to manage uncertainty/ambiguity with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset leveraging strong project management/PMO expertise
• Experience using ERM/SAP.
• Broad based understanding of Finance core processes and interdependencies with other business and functional processes.
• Has a business first mindset, but also cultural technology affinity. Needs to be able to speak the language of both business and IT as it relates to the project.
• Exhibits digital dexterity. Understands how technology can transform how we operate vs. just automate existing processes. • Consistently practices inclusive leadership behaviors – commitment, courage, cognizance of bias, curiosity, cultural intelligence, and collaboration. U.S Corporate/Office Exempt Roles (Equity Eligible)
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $147,000 to $252,000. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
