Accountant

A long-established international distributor of innovative architectural hardware and industrial components seeks a reliable Accountant to join their team.

Requirements of the Accountant:
•    Degree in accounting or related
•    5+ years of corporate accounting experience
•    Working knowledge of SAGE 300, NetSuite, or other accounting software is a major plus
•    Expertise in Microsoft Excel
•    Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
•    Reliable, accountable, team-oriented, career-minded
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities of the Accountant:
•    Oversee A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments, and inventory control
•    Monitor record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions
•    Manage balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in preparation for month-end and quarterly closing process
•    Reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions in preparation of quarterly reports for management
•    Communicate with customers on past due invoices and provide weekly status updates to management
•    Support the preparation of financial statements in collaboration with external CPA
•    Serve as company liaison with auditors, such as annual financial audits
•    Ad hoc analysis
•    Other related duties as assigned

Employment Type:  Direct Hire
Schedule:  Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
