Under direction of the Superintendent, to provide executive-level secretarial support to the Superintendent and members of the Board of Education; to perform a wide variety of complex, confidential, and sensitive administrative support work involving a high degree of responsibility for public contact with school officials, including the Board of Education, District administrators and staff, the public, students and parents; to prepare the agendas and minutes of Board meetings and record all official actions of the Board of Education; and to perform related duties as assigned.
Has knowledge and skills related to computer applications: BoardDocs, Calpads, CBED's, Aeries Student Information System and other State reporting requirements. Has knowledge of Board Policy, the Education Code and the Ralph M Brown Open Meeting Act.
Education and Experience:
Possession of a High School Diploma, supplemented by completion of college courses in office management or business administration; A minimum of five years experience in a school district or related field demonstrating progressively responsible assignment; any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
