First Tee Utah is hiring a multi-skilled administrative professional to keep the trains running on time and be the right hand for the chapter President. First Tee Utah is a youth development nonprofit that teaches Utah kids character values and life skills through golf. We teach kids golf, and use golf instruction to teach them character values and life skills they need to become successful adults. We are the Utah chapter of an international organization that is a subsidiary of the PGA Tour. This position reports to and works directly with the President. We want this key team member to develop ways to make the workplace more effective and efficient, bringing excellent leadership skills, social skills, and teamwork skills.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
- Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way, including improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Technical systems management for the several online systems used by the chapter, including email list and database maintenance.
- Volunteer coordination with the Program Director and Events Manager.
- Human resources support, including new hire onboarding and payroll management.
- Fundraising support for President and third-party fundraising consultant.
- Financial management, including daily bookkeeping using Quickbooks online, donation tracking and reporting using Bloomerang, financial report preparation for President and the Board.
- Office management, including materials and supply management.
- General chapter operations support, including Board meeting materials and report preparation, program management support using Salesforce, child safety protocol support, and event support
- Other activities and responsibilities as assigned by the President.

- Social media management.
- Graphics design.
- Website management.
Requirements and skills
- Commitment to our mission of teaching Utah kids character values and life skills through golf to help them grow up to be successful adults.
- Proven work experience as an Executive Assistant, operations manager or similar role.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Experience with finance including bookkeeping, budgeting and forecasting.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Technology savvy.
Position Lifestyle
- Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
