What You Will be Doing:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide executive level and confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Director, Human Resources leadership team, and the Human Resources section. As the Human Resources Executive Assistant, you will perform, coordinate, and oversee technical and administrative duties, including varied and complex assignments involving knowledge of change management, process improvement and human resources concepts. Interpret and apply policies and procedures to provide support related to non-routine and highly sensitive personnel matters.

What We Are Looking For (Desired Attributes):
  • Expert experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Adobe Sign/Creative Cloud; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and customers using effective communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills related to workload and meeting management.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing, coordinating, and prioritizing projects, while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Preference may be given to applicants with LEDS Certification.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
One year of experience performing administrative duties in support of agency projects or programs. Qualifying experience would involve data collection and analysis; project evaluation and/or analysis; interpretation and application of laws, rules, and regulations; or similar experience.

Hybrid Remote Work Information:
This position is eligible for a Hybrid Remote Work schedule. The incumbent will be expected to work at the central workplace located in Salem, Oregon, at least twice per week. Determining the amount of work that can be performed remotely is based on assignment and determined at the discretion of the employee's direct supervisor. Remote work availability can change without notice based on organizational need. Candidates are expected to reside within (or be willing to relocate to) Oregon, or one of its bordering states within a reasonable commuting distance (e.g. Vancouver, Washington).
