Responsibilities:
- Own all calendar management, including but not limited to; team meetings, one on ones, offsite meetings, partner, and client meetings across global time zones
- Conserve executive’s time by reading and routing email, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information and initiating meetings
- Own and manage the rhythm of the business, including, but not limited to; agenda management, notes, logistics, follow-ups, and reminding the teams of deliverables and due dates
- Schedule and coordinate logistics for meetings, all hands calls, conferences and special events.
- Process expense reports, and manage purchasing as needed
- Schedule complex domestic and international travel
- Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work streams with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Coordinate with internal and external business stakeholders at all organizational levels to gather information, prepare reports or summaries, and keep the flow of information in motion
- Acts as a liaison for assigned executives relaying and exchanging information with others including, but not limited to; additional members of the administrative community, senior leaders, customers and clients, and other organizations or constituents
- Provide backup support for other EAs or executives
- Collaborate with and across the administrative community as an active and engaged member
- Partner with cross functional partners as appropriate; including but not limited to, Finance, Communications, People [HRBP, Talent Acquisitions etc.] and WorkPlace
- Additional projects/program management to support the organizations needs
Qualifications:
- 6+ years work experience in the capacity of an Executive Assistant supporting and/or reporting to a senior executive
- Extensive experience performing administrative work that requires analysis, initiative, discretion, and independent judgment
- Understands the value of working collaboratively and cohesively with other Executive Assistants
- Demonstrates compassion and empathy while gate-keeping and prioritizing executives’ time
- Displays a high level of self accountability and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently on programs/projects as needed
- Exhibits diplomacy and the ability to represent executives’ in their absence
- Consistently exemplifies strong communication skills and understands the importance of “closing the loop”
- Comfortable with heavy communication via Slack, WebEx Chat, and Microsoft Teams in addition to email and calendar notifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong editing skills
- Extremely comfortable with frequent access to confidential information and ability to exercise extreme discretion
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize long task lists/projects, and meet deadlines with little direction in an often highly ambiguous environment
- Strong relationship management skills; ability to build a personal network throughout the immediate org, administrative community, and company
- Strong knowledge of both GSuite and Microsoft 365 Platforms
- Up to 10% travel may be required

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $41.54 - 57.12 per hour
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $37.38 - 51.40 per hour
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $33.46 - 46.01 per hour
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation, and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
