Form of workThe Event Sales & Planning Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet (Event) Food and Beverage and includes menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during, and post-event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
The Event Sales & Planning Manager also host hotel tours, maintains strong customer relationships, participates and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and events staff. This role is the liaison between the hotel and the Event Clients. They are critical to cross-departmental communication and ensuring events are executed with the highest of guest satisfaction.

Compensation Range: $61,800-86,600 annually

- Prefer two years of hotel experience or a completed Event Management trainee program
