Job Summary:
The Account Manager, Cargo & Mail Planning is responsible for sales, marketing and administration of mail related accounts for the American region.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Maintains current Mail related accounts such as USPS and Canadian Post.
● Expands business opportunities through new accounts for Mail.
● Controls and maintains Mail traffic handling procedures for all stations.
● Ensures stations follow Mail handling procedures through on‐site observations and training.
● Negotiates with related parties as necessary to resolve issues out of the scope of regular
handling.
● Conducts market research to evaluate the current Mail business market in order to heighten business competitiveness.
● Manages revenue for Mail business.
● Travels as necessary to oversee and audit station operations related to Mail handling
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and delegation skills
● Proficiency in English (verbal/written)
● Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace)
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
● Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
● Ability to function well in a high‐paced and at times stressful environment.
● Passing of USPS background check .
● Must be able to obtain airport badge with U.S. customs clearance for multiple airports.
Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or the equivalent training/experience.
● 5 years of experience in related field.
Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
● Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
● Must be able to travel.
● Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
● Must be able to work in unfavorable temperatures and loud environments.
