Job description

About Us:

Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.

We’re based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We're backed by top investors including 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Eric Ries, and more.

We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.

As an early stage start-up employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

About the Role:

Are you a seasoned event management professional with a passion for creating impactful experiences and managing strategic alliances? Fieldguide is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Producer to join our team and take charge of the execution of our diverse range of events and partnerships.

As the Event Producer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the concept, creation, and flawless execution of webinars, roadshows, field events, trade shows, executive programs, and managing our partnerships with alliances. Your primary focus will be to ensure the seamless coordination and execution of various programs while fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. Precision, creativity, and effective communication are essential traits for success in this position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Events and Alliances to develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Manage end-to-end logistics for webinars, roadshows, field events, trade shows, and executive programs, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, onsite coordination and reporting.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop event concepts, and execute projects within established timelines and budgets.

  • Oversee the creation of event collateral, including invitations, presentations, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment.

  • Utilize project management tools to track event progress, allocate resources, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure success metrics, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and impact of our events and partnerships.

About You:

  • 6+ years of experience in event production, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology-focused environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing partnerships and vendor relationships, with a proven track record of driving mutually beneficial collaborations.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in leveraging event management platforms and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate contracts, and resolve conflicts diplomatically.

  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.
