Position Summary:
The Associate, Virtual Event Producer is responsible for providing event production and technical support for LEE meetings, webinars, and Virtual Events. This role reports to the Senior Director, Learning, Development, & Inclusion and will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of Virtual Events across the organization. This position involves assisting with Zoom setup, configuration, and management. The Associate will collaborate with teams to provide technical guidance, conduct pre-event testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and monitor live events. They will also maintain knowledge of Zoom features and best practices. To be successful in this role, the person must have strong customer service skills, trouble-shooting skills, and be an expert of the Zoom video conferencing platform.
The Associate, Virtual Event Producer is a part-time, temporary position for up to 20 hours per week through November 22nd, 2024.

Responsibilities:
Event Production and Technical Support (65%)
Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of Zoom meetings, webinars, and Virtual Events
Conduct pre-event testing and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and successful Virtual Event experiences
Monitor the quality of live events, including participant sign-ons, audio/video quality, and technical issues
Provide end-user support by identifying and resolving technical difficulties related to Zoom Virtual Events
Maintain knowledge of Zoom features, updates, and best practices to maximize event production quality
Support distribution and organization of learning materials to members
Process Improvement and Documentation (20%)
Implement identified improvements to Zoom workflows and processes as directed by manager and the Technology team
Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
Special Projects (15%)
Engage in team-level, org-wide, or cross-team special projects as assigned by manager or designee
Provide short-term coverage of other Associate-level duties during a leave, vacancy, or PTO
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience (If you do not hold a Bachelor’s degree an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required. If you hold an Associate’s degree an additional 2 years of relevant experience is required.)
1+ year(s) of relevant experience managing digital/Virtual Events and utilizing Zoom in a professional setting
Strong understanding of Zoom video conferencing platform and its various features
Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, trouble-shooting, and detail orientation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, & inclusion
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE’s mission and theory of change
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with technologies integrated to Zoom
Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
This position is primarily a sedentary role working with colleagues based around the country using remote technologies.
Occasional evening and/or weekend work is required.

Pay and Benefits
The position level for this role is Assistant and the corresponding hourly pay range for this position is $22.12-$31.01. Pay is competitive and based upon relevant experience and cost of labor for your location.
