Marketing Event Planner & Promoter
View Music Bar in Torrance, CA is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, goal-focused Planner & Promoters to join our Marketing team! We are offering a salary with a lead acquisition sales commission.
A marketing events planner & promoter is responsible for planning, producing, and executing communications and marketing plan activities such as private events, venue rental, live music band performances, DJ events, and event promoters promotions segments.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company when communicating with prospective and existing clients, planners, and vendors, including conducting site visits, and explaining venue policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Serve as point of contact for assigned clients from event confirmation through event completion, ensuring excellent customer service every step of the way.
- Work with clients to determine specific objectives and needs, formulate specific event plans, create and manage budgets and execute flawless events.
- Track revenue and expenses throughout the event lifecycle, communicate cost changes for add-ons and keep clients informed of any deviations from budget.
- Coordinate event specifics with vendors and internal departments, clearly describing the objectives and details regarding ticketing, marketing, schedules, staffing, equipment needs, etc. to ensure success for all involved.
- Provide thorough, accurate sales reports on the prescribed forms using CRM and slack on a daily, weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Serve as Manager on Duty of assigned private and public events. Serve as point of contact for artist teams, promoters, and rental clients during assigned events. Ensure that all objectives are met and that all stakeholders are satisfied, handling guest issues, maintenance issues, etc. as necessary.
- Provide other administrative support to the Events team and maintain event files after the sale is completed and the contract is signed.
- Understand and carry out our policies and procedures, reservations, payments, cancellations, billing, collection, and purchasing.
- Possess and maintain professional phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Perform any other task or duty assigned
Qualifications
- Established strong interpersonal skills and a neat physical appearance.
- Proven experience in financial reporting.
- Has a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
- A strong hospitality background with directly related sales experience, 5 years minimum preferred.
- Superior organizational skills are required and a team player with a positive attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: $3,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month
