Salesforce Strategic Events is searching for a Registration Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for day to day management of Registration Operations and support the overall attendee engagement effort for events within our World Tour and paid events portfolios, ensuring operational excellence and success for pre, on-site, and post planning.
This individual will manage day to day agency registration team relations and will be the main point of contact for key stakeholders both internal and external for the assigned program(s). This role leads the registration group on-site, ensuring that all facets of registration run flawlessly. This position requires someone who can work both independently and as part of a management team in making decisions important to the success of the events.
Your impact and responsibilities:
- This role is responsible for overseeing the implementation of RainFocus registration builds for events within our World Tour event series (1 day, free events) and paid multi-day events by audience (Attendees, Employee, Sponsors, Press, etc)
- Oversee pre-planning for all on-site operations - floor plans, people flow, badge/lanyard materials
- Manage timeliness and accuracy of all registration deliverables
- Work cross-functionally with internal business partners such as the Event Technology team, Growth Marketing team, Creative team, and the Legal, Ethics, Compliance teams related to successful registration execution
- Partner closely with our Event Technology team on registration flow builds, functionality, and testing
- Partner closely with our Growth Marketing team to ensure the end to end attendee journey of registration is user-friendly and effective
- Partner closely with our Creative team on creative assets needed within the registration build
- Maintain an active understanding of internal policies and procedures related to event communications, data privacy/sharing, and gifting
- Support management of hotel blocks
- Support implementation of other RainFocus activations, as needed
- Confirm event badge configuration and badge access rules
- Manage RainFocus reporting to provide internal teams with required reporting
- Travel onsite to manage event execution for the registration and housing needs
- Manage on-site swag/gifting experience
- Support and contribute to the team’s operational excellence through detailed upkeep of team documentation, templates, etc.
Required skills:
- 4-7 years successful event registration, project management, operations experience; basic housing experience is a plus
- Experience leading day to day relations for agency registration teams
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional project and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with leadership and Salesforce stakeholders
- Willing and able to effectively work remotely
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with complex requirements, competing priorities, and last minute changes
- Adept at working on multiple projects at once, setting priorities, working independently, problem solving, improvising, and functioning as part of a team that often must perform under pressure
- Self-starter who can prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to manage up on tasks and communication out to the team, know when to ask for help
- Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a “can-do” attitude
- Able to live with organizational ambiguity
- Ability to travel on-site both domestically and internationally
- Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, RainFocus knowledge highly preferred
