The Position: We are looking for a Event Coordinator, who is willing to embrace McKinley's mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The primary purpose of the Event Coordinator role is to aid the departments in organizing and hosting unforgettable events. The Event Coordinator is responsible for every part of event preparation, day of coordination and post event debriefing. This individual must be self motivated, organized and detail oriented. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing communication between internal departments and external vendors, strong communication skills and record keeping are required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range we're offering is $20- $26 hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other office-related software.
- Possess superior oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer-service skills, over the phone and in person, with internal and external customers.
- Detail oriented and extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and organize multiple projects with minimum supervision.
- Able to work as a team member.
- Ability to write, speak and interact in a clear and professional manner.
- Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients and staff.
- Ability to represent the agency professionally and appropriately with all constituencies.
- Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and other assigned duties.

- Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds for filing, boxes, and packages
- Ability to sit for several hours performing clerical functions
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods during event days.

Key Responsibilities:
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills required.
- Coordinating and leading communications between departments to gather needed information for the approval and the follow up event coordination
- Identify all requirements (based on event, department and/or external agency) for each event.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Manage all events set up, tear down, clean up and follow-up processes.
- Day of event coordination.
- Organizes and/or prepares materials in advance of events - speeches, etc.
- Research and book venues, entertainers, photographers, and speakers.
- Conduct final inspection on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to client's standards.
- Assess overall success of each event and submit it to the team for review.
- Other related duties as assigned.
