Event Assistant

Overview

We are in search of (3) motivated and organized individuals to join our team as Event Assistants. This role will involve supporting the planning and execution of designs and decorations for client events, including luxury picnics, baby showers, proposals, birthdays, weddings, and more. The Event Assistants will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of exceptional experiences for our clients. Majority of our events take place during the weekends and many take place outdoors at parks, beaches, and other venues.

Yours Truly, Decor is a bespoke decor rental and event design company based in New Jersey. We specialize in designing spaces that create meaningful connections, center gratitude, and celebrate the present moment.

Responsibilities

- Assisting in setting up events, many of which will be luxury picnics

- Unloading materials and equipment

- Attend special events for on-site installations

- Assisting with event preparation as requested

- Organizing inventory at storage unit

- Traveling to and from events

Qualifications

- Outstanding customer service skills

- Attention to detail

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Interest/experience in event design and hospitality

- Flexible schedule; must be available on the weekends

- Driver's license & reliable vehicle for travel (SUV or hatchback preferred)

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
