Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Event Assistant to join our team at Bethel Kids. As an Event Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Operational Pastor and help ensure the successful planning and execution of various events hosted by Bethel Kids. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities- Assist the Operations Pastor in all aspects of event planning and coordination
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and equipment rental
- Collaborate with the team to promote events through various channels such as social media and email campaigns
- Assist in event registration and attendee communication
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that may arise
- Assist with post-event evaluation and reporting
Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Prior experience in event planning or coordination is preferred
- Passionate about contributing to the mission and vision of Bethel Church
