Job Title: Dental Practice Insurance Coordinator and Front Desk
Job Summary
We are a unique dental office that provides evening and weekend dental care to help expand accessibility in Utah. We offer all types of dental treatment from preventative care to implantology and full mouth rehabilitation. We are skilled at dental triaging while providing a dental home to those who are wanting long term care. We stay busy and are looking to expand our staff to help keep up with patient demand. We have very dedicated and loyal staff with almost no turnover. With that said, this is a rare opportunity to join the AHDC family amidst our growth. We are looking for someone that can work 20-30 hours a week. If you want to be a part of a growing dental niche then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Please be aware that this position requires evening hours along with Monday and/or Saturday day hours.
-Please be aware that we are a small 2 operatory practice that focuses on Quality vs. Quantity.

Clinic Hours:
Mondays (9:00AM-6:00PM)
Tues-Friday (5:30PM-10:00 PM)
Saturday (9:00AM-5:00 PM)
General Accountabilities:
• Spanish Speaking preferred
PRIMARY ROLES:
-Works Front Desk, answers phones, checks patients in/out etc.
-Files insurance claims (We are out-of-network but we still file claims, do pre-authorizations, and reimbursements)
-Obtains Pre-authorizations and EOB's with current patients.
-Tracks claims and Oversees patient reimbursements
-Treatment plan specialist and financial coordinator
-Schedule patients and confirm appointments.
-Manage the schedule and run daily, weekly, and monthly reports
-Assist with Staff meetings, agendas, and task lists.
-Help implement insurance training protocols and cross trains staff on insurance claims
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (when needed):
-May be asked or have the potential to cross train for dental assisting functions if needed or desired.
-Record treatment information in patient records
-Assist with Botox, Fillers, Whitening, and other cosmetic procedures. (Potential bonus and/or commission procedures)
-Clean bathroom and help with the daily task list to help maintain office standards.

Job Qualifications
• Education: Post-secondary certificate from an accredited dental
assistant program preferred but will consider training the
right candidate
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or combination of
education and experience (preferred)
• 1-2 years of processing dental insurances
Customer service/sales experience preferred
