The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1998 to provide professional credentialing services for practitioners of behavior analysis services. Position Summary:  The Ethics Case Coordinator supports the Ethics Department by conducting searches for information pertaining to case matters, preparing documents for case review, drafting memoranda and disciplinary determinations, and managing case follow-up. This position works closely with the Ethics Compliance Specialist. The workload for this individual is diverse, with some routine tasks, and some assignments that are common to case processing but nuanced, requiring exceptional reading comprehension skills, the ability to think critically, and a willingness to interpret and communicate complex fact patterns verbally and in writing. 


Hourly Base Pay Rate: $26.00


Requirements

  

  • Conducting internal and external searches for case information in accordance with the BACB ethics guidelines.
  • Writing case summaries, and creating support documents (e.g., visual timelines).
  • Drafting memoranda and disciplinary determinations.
  • Ongoing monitoring of current cases and continuous oversight of case roster.
  • Working collaboratively with team members towards common goals and meeting deadlines.
  • Fill in for Intake Representatives while on scheduled days off.
  • Upholding the mission of the Ethics Department to protect consumers by clearly communicating ethics requirements, disseminating resources, and providing mechanisms to address potential ethics violations. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2+ years in a business support role required and the ability to complete NCIT certification in first year of employment.


Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and video conferencing.


Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the ability to lift and carry a laptop, lift files, open filing cabinets, frequently type, bend and reach as necessary is essential to the position.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a regular full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening, holidays, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Campus Wellness: The BACB is a tobacco free work environment. The consumption of tobacco products is not allowed on BACB property.


Travel: Minimal travel is expected for this position.
