Estimator Construction Sales (Base + Commission)

Commercial specialty contractor seeking experienced construction Estimator (Base + Commission.)

While actual estimator experience is ideal, experience with reading plans and specs coupled with field experience and good math and computer skills is probably a good combination for this position.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Review ITB's to determine suitability for quoting.
2. Write proposals and estimate costs for plan and spec or solution-oriented projects to General Contractors and user clients.
3. Work with Salesperson to review quotes and assist in follow up.
4. Bonus on business closed by the team.
5. In office position.

**Requirements:**
1. 3-5 years of *experience as a commercial trade estimator, sales or field trade.
2. Knowledge of architectural products like doors, T-bar, drywall, and finishes.
3. Positive attitude, organizational skills, and high aptitude for basic math and geometry.
4. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
5. Diploma or certificate in construction, trade experience, or similar (helpful but not required).
6. Reliable transportation, insurance, and a current driver's license.
7. Fluent in English (writing, speaking).
8. Reliable, punctual, professional, organized, and courteous.
9. Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
