Job Description
Southwest International Trucks is currently seeking Heavy Duty Collision Technicians for our locations in the DFW metroplex.
Job Responsibilities:
- Repair unibody structural damage.
- Replace and repair body panels.
- Replace damaged wiring harnesses or reinstall harnesses after body repair.
- Remove and reinstall interiors.
- File, grind and sand repaired surfaces
- Dry box repairs.
- Reefer box repairs.
- FRP repairs on Box trucks.
- Performs work as outlined on repair order.
- Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
- Advises Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed.
- Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
- Complete daily paperwork.
Job Skills:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- 3 years hands- on experience with body shop and collision work
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
- Possess own tools and tool box
