SUMMARY
The ERP Systems Analyst, as a member of the CDI IT BRM – Corporate team, supports enterprise business and financial software solutions and systems. This role involves directly monitoring, developing, designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise applications including ERP, Procurement, CRM, and HR systems. The position will closely collaborate with vendors, corporate and property IT teams, project stakeholders, business leaders, and end users to work on enterprise application development and support. The role will also be involved in associated system integration development and maintenance. The ERP Systems Analyst will be responsible for active participation in meetings discussing projects, new software requirements or implementations, planning, training, and/or operational needs. Collaborating with the technical team, this individual will play a key role in integration and continuous development of process automation, involving collaboration with external vendors. The ideal candidate should demonstrate adaptability, enthusiasm, and proficiency in acquiring new application and technical expertise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Work as a technical analyst for financial and enterprise systems. Support enterprise application configuration, implementation, and integration.
- Configure and design technical processes and software architecture of the enterprise technology stack.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate new product integrations per business and IT requirements.
- Conduct functional testing and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases and system integrations based on user/business needs.
- Manage user defect/issue reporting queues and work in the ERP to determine the root cause and resolution of the defect/issue.
- Ability to effectively communicate, clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes and technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Function as a liaison between business leaders and IT to communicate priorities, while managing technical requirements for enterprise and financial applications.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the capability of developing & configuring features in software with minimal definition or instruction.
- Ensure applications and solutions adhere to financial audit requirements and appropriate security compliance/best practice.
- Promote continuous improvement and assess effectiveness of applications and systems using process analysis and automation.
- Work well in a collaborative team setting, coordinating work, and addressing work prioritization, escalating to management when necessary.
- Stay informed and updated on trends in automation, AI, and software integration.
- Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.
Regulatory
The candidate must be able to be licensed as an Employee by all racing and gaming jurisdictions in which CDI operates.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline and 2 years of related work experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in enterprise software configuration, architecture, and integrations
- Technical familiarity with coding and development tools (Python, JavaScript, Node.JS a plus)
- Detailed knowledge of integration technologies and protocols (SOAP/REST API, HTTP, JSON/XML)
- Familiarity with common software development platforms, database management systems (Oracle, SQL, etc.), and reporting packages.
- Strong business and financial systems understanding
- Three+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications - JDE, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Concur, SAP Ariba, Agiloft experience a plus
- ITIL Foundations certification preferred.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Toyota Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM methodologies preferred.
- Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license.
