Systems Support Analyst

Transcend Credit Union has an immediate opportunity in our* I.T. Department for a Systems Support Analyst*!
The Systems Support Analyst reviews, analyzes, and acts as the primary contact for support requests for the Symitar core system and escalates as needed. This position is responsible for providing outstanding end-user support on all network applications and works as a liaison with branch staff to address ongoing support needs. The Systems Support Analyst acts as a lead for projects within the department and helps organize resources and deliverables.

• Assist staff in troubleshooting and resolving core systems software operational issues.
• Provide systems training for users. Assist users in maximizing the hardware and software resources available to them.
• Assist in maintaining, enhancing, and testing the disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all core computer systems.
• Handle support requests and provide immediate assistance. Follow-up to ensure issues are fully corrected to user’s satisfaction.
• Submit, organize, and prioritize work requests for the core system and engage 3rd party resources to provide solutions or custom programming as needed.
• Prepare and document monthly and quarterly compliance reports and checklists. Ensure all department compliance documentation is kept up to date and accurate.
• Process regularly scheduled operations tasks independently.
• Assist other IT Department team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience with Operating Systems, Programming and Web Technologies.
• Experience with Symitar, Synergy, SMA OpCon, and VMware highly preferred.
• Experience with server and desktop hardware and break/fix techniques.
• Experience with Cisco and related network products a plus.

Position Requirements:

• Three or more years of experience in a medium/large multi-office environment preferred.
• Financial Industry experience is highly preferred.

• Must work flexible hours to accomplish varying workloads. During peak periods, the job will require a non-traditional work week with extra hours, including evening and/or weekend duties. Participation in after hours on-call rotation is required.

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a professional office and banking environment. This role may routinely use standard office equipment such as, but not limited to computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
