JOB DESCRIPTION


Price and trade equity Delta One (D1) products with the firm’s clients, perform daily operational and risk management tasks of the trading desk, and serve as a key point of contact for the sale team. You will become an integral part of our industry-leading team, dedicated to providing clients with the firm’s advanced trading capabilities in the Delta One space. As a key member of the trading team, you will help the desk to continue to deliver positive results and expand into new areas of opportunity.

Job Summary:

As a Vice President on the Equity Derivatives GroupDelta One trading desk, you will perform day-to-day activities for the trading book from risk-management to customer pricing and trading of all related products. You will be one of the key points of contact with the sales teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize stock inventory and minimize financing costs using single stock and exchange-traded fund (ETF) D1 derivatives
  • Use an in-depth knowledge of stock loan and short-term equity financing markets to effectively price, trade, and risk manage the full suite of Delta One products
  • Utilize expertise in single stock and ETF reverse/conversion trading, showcasing experience with American options, gamma management, and early exercise considerations
  • Effectively project ETF dividends for both domestic and international ETFs, employing quantitative analysis and fund specific knowledge
  • Execute Delta One trading strategies utilizing fixed income and commodity ETFs, demonstrating proficiency in financing, hedging, and projecting dividends of these products

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experienced single stock Delta One Trader with a proven track record in executing and optimizing Delta One trading
  • Extensive experience with and in-depth knowledge of stock loan markets
  • Strong analytical and technical background to price derivative products
  • Strong communication skills required to comprehensively talk to clients about orders, executions and market activity
