The Equipment Specialist, Intake is responsible to consolidate New Store or Remodel floorplans and corresponding documents from Inspire Brands, for bidding. Management of initial stages of the bid process will be covered under this role. This includes but is not limited to management, monitoring, and updating of the Smartsheet New Store and Remodel Project Tracker with initial store and bid information. Administrative Support of the New Store or Remodel Solution may be required.
The ideal candidate must be a motivated team player that has an elevated attention to detail, organization, service, communication, and developing strong working and cross-functional relationships.
The Equipment Solutions Group has procurement and supply chain responsibilities for indirect products and services, such as kitchen equipment, smallwares, custom fabrication, distribution, and consolidation programs, construction materials, furnishings, lighting, signs, and store level services. The Equipment Specialist will report directly to the Associate Director, Equipment Solutions. NDCP and this position are located in Duluth, GA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive initial quote request from Inspire Brands and corresponding documents required
- Return quote requests to Inspire or Franchisee that do not meet requirements to bid
- Add all quote request detail to Smartsheet tracker
- Monitor and update Smartsheet tracker as needed
- Send Remodel Bid template to Franchisee for completion and submit to KES Partner for bid
- Close and ongoing communication with KES Partner to ensure deliverables are returned in a timely manner
- Send all completed quotes to Franchisee for review
- Request quote changes and updates, as needed
- Assign NDCP Project Manager to Awarded projects
- Suggestions for improvement of Process and Systems
- Escalation and communication of issues in a timely manner
- Support Franchisee and Project Manager as needed
- Manage Weekly Flat File Invoice Process and any ad hoc invoice requests from Members
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Customer Service, Project Management, or Accounting background or skills preferred. Other equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain considered
- 1-3 years of experience in Foodservice, Hospitality, or Construction industry a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task with limited supervision to accomplish set deliverables
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and priorities
- Dedicated, Collaborative, and Proactive
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products required (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- “Smartsheet Work Management” or related Software experience preferred
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Team player, service oriented, with excellent relationship development skills
Supervision Exercised
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
