Equipment Engineer - Thin Film/Cvd

As a Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the stability and performance of semiconductor manufacturing CVD equipment, including AMAT Centura DxZ/HDP and Producer, in the thin film equipment section. Responsibilities include: 1) routinely communicating and coordinating with TSMC Taiwan; 2) troubleshooting production equipment and improving availability; 3) prioritizing urgent tool recoveries, long-term improvement projects, and reporting; 4) developing and maintaining training material and standard operating procedures; 5) initiating projects to improve efficiencies with maintenance methods, data collection, and reporting; 6) devising methods for minimizing safety risks; 7) leading projects to reduce costs and improve production equipment throughput; 8) contributing to team discussions and actively listening to engineer and technician counterparts; 9) preparing contingency action plan when solution is uncertain.
While this position is scheduled to work core business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.
The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications.
REQUIRMENTS:

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Two (2) years of related thin film Equipment Engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Experience repairing and maintaining CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) equipment, such as AMAT Centura, HDP, or Centura.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.
