Equipment Engineer-Thin Film

As a Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining and improving tool performance in the Thin Film Equipment section of a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include: 1) routinely communicating and coordinating with parent company; 2) working closely with manufacturing, and process and equipment engineers and technicians to achieve fab moves and maintain operation line; 3) daily reviewing equipment quality systems including RTM (Real Time Monitor), SPC (Statistical Process Control), PMS (Preventative Maintenance System), ECS, eMUC (Electronic Manual Upload Card), and alarm system to ensure all potential outlier signals have been reviewed and dispositioned; 4) conducting continuous improvement projects for productivity, quality improvement, and cost savings; 5) troubleshooting tool issues, determining root cause, and developing solutions; 6) managing projects to achieve internal and external customers' goals.
While this position is scheduled to work core business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.
The salary range for this role is $121,160 - $123,000. The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications.
REQUIRMENTS:
Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Physics or other related engineering degree and two (2) years of related thin film process engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, or Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Physics or other related engineering degree and five (5) years of related thin film process engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.
