JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented and passionate Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Marketing Business Partner, the Marketing Specialist provides support in the planning, execution, and optimization of our marketing campaigns and will be point person for channels such as social media, websites, online listings, and more. The ideal candidate will understand digital marketing principles and have experience working with paid digital media, social media tools, Google My Business, and SEO. This role will help identify gaps, elevate processes, and provide marketing support to our thriving community of equine practices. A background in the horse industry will be essential in this role to understand the specific needs of our equine practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for social media, online reputation management, and online listings. This includes ensuring that metadata for each of our locations is correct, working with vendors to troubleshoot issues, and providing training and support on digital marketing tools.
- Help create and scale toolkits, best practices, and training to support practice site leaders.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of performance marketing reports.
- Manage new website launches and active website maintenance.
- Update online listings, social media, and other digital content or metadata, as needed.
- Elevate site-level graphic design support and work as liaison with graphic design resources.
- Support and create social media resources and materials to enable ease of use for practice site leaders.
- Pilot new marketing channels and campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the horse/equine industry is required.
- 1-3 years of progressive digital marketing experience.
- Foundational understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices.
- Demonstrated experience working with Google products (Google My Business, Google Analytics), online listings management and ORM tools such as Yext or Birdeye, and social media tools.
- Self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to problem solve with innovative thinking, decision-making, and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical skills and confidence in making information-based decisions. Proficiency in Excel is necessary.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones as needed per the needs of the business.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
